Very appropriate article. Pleased to read, people are doing the right thing by the world business community and allowing these wonderful free business directories. imagine the world in video ads. that would be great! Kantabiz has the upper hand for sure, as per the other reviews, i agree. not much to see otherwise.

Keepin gin mind the value that video now has, I would take heed in this article. As authors you have pointed me out to things of the coming future,a Suzzanne points out. Clutter in a Businerss directory just drowns the businesses in it. From your choices, i too agree. kantabiz.com had the look and the feel of a directory I'd be fond off looking through. Hotplat looked akward and I was lost withing a minute. the others I did not bother... I also worry about the cost in making that video, as my farm business has lots of stuff I'd like to show my viewers in here in Kentucky Ohio. I wish I knew how to make stuff myslef, but at my age, doing the small things can be a problem, let alone video skills. hahaha Thanks again. Bye

Suzzane, thanks for leaving a comment. Yes, hiring a company can be expensive - but so can losing business by having an unprofessional video. The key is to make your video as professional as possible. It's worth hiring someone to do it right if doing it yourself leads to something unprofessional. If you can do it yourself and produce high quality, go for it. Good luck!

Choosing a video production company, is way too expensive. But, as the article points out it is an important task. Good tip though, make that list, I know I will. For me animation is way too expensive, but flash might just work and be the ticket here. My flower shop can be animated in many ways, but hope to findsomebody who can do the job cheap enough. I also agree with the user Jarrod, that most directories aprt from Kantabiz.com are kindda unwelcoming and boring. They dont have enough leverage I felt, nor would I like my Florist shop on those. We LAites prefer some class. Hola .. But seriously, Kantabiz.com was quite easy to follow and the look of the site was self explanatory, which was a relief as I hate busy annoying sites. Your idea to avoid video sites like google and yahoo makes sense, as I get lost in their maze. I prefer the direction of a pure directory only, as you pointed out. And yes, being part of the Business video directory is a must and in a few years will be the norm, and I am one for sure not to miss out on this opportunity. For me too, its Kantabiz.com . And, thanks for such a comprehensive article and links. It helps when articles provide knowledge and links to explain and demonstrate further. Andd you have done both. I shall be ready for more from you two.. Thanks again.

Ok. This was a great article, regarding, why business video is in today. This article was very comprehensive in its subject and layout. Thanks for that. This was a nice read. I also tried all the suggested directories and found most to be quite unusable apart from Kantabiz.com, which truly offered ease of use and felt like a proper directory with functionality and simplicity etc. I also like the knowledge base this articles provides as to why a business should have a video, and in a directory and not in busy viral video sites like Ytube etc. That€s where making a small add for business is better than a big one, which can get boring. So all and all, thanks for the tip and I will join Kantabiz.com Business video directory, as they seem to lure me in more than all the others and keen to get my holiday business on it going. Wish me luck. Bye guys. thnx
