Hi Sathya,

We do not write resumes or objectives here at LoveToKnow Business, but we do try to equip our readers with the tools to get the job done. Do you have a specific question with which I can help you?

Hi Rachel,

The objective statement is usually one or two sentences about the kind of job you want and what you can contribute to the company in return. For your situation you can write in broad, non-specific terms and focus on skills and strengths that will be a plus to the position for which you are applying.

What if I'm just fulfilling a school requirement? I'm currently at the last leg of my MA (major in sped)and about to submit my resume for practi..., my undergrad course is not related (Accountancy)and have no experience yet in teaching?

Hi Winston,

Remember that your objective needs to focus on what you have to offer the company. The first part: A position in a financial institution--is what you are looking for, but will meet a need when submitted to a financial institution so that is good. However, the especially interested in part is about you and what you want. Instead, target a position offering these features and use your objective to tell the prospective employer what you are bringing to the table in that regard. Let me know if you have any questions. Good luck. You've got a good start.
