Thanks for leaving a comment. If you've been away from the workforce for a while, try the functional resume style as suggested in this article rather than a chronological type. You may want to visit one of the many working mom-type websites too, in order to see what other WAHMS (Work at Home Moms) do. Good luck.

As a stay at home mom, you have plenty to add to your resume. What skills have you used to manage your household? This is a great tool to highlight your organizational skills. Along these same lines, you can promote yourself as a experience in time management as you juggle and maintain more than one schedule and/or responsibility.
Other items you can include may involve skills use in:
- Involvement in community groups
- Involvement in volunteer organizations
- Activities to promote products
- Interests/hobbies
I am former military, now stay at home mom looking to reenter the workforce. I don't know where to start with my resume, can you offer some help? thanks
