Lauren, I think such a letter is a gracious act. The tips in this article are about the same for a form letter as well as for hand written thank you notes. Good luck on your new business.
-- Contributed by: Jeanne GrunertMy husband and I have just started a business and I am wanting to have a basic business letter that I can send to clients. I want to be able to thank them for contacting our compny and we look forward to helping them in the future. Something along those lines. Is this ok? and can you give some tips or fuidelines on how to write the letter?
Thanks
-- Contributed by: LaurenHi Kimberly,
What you write in your thank you letter to a teacher will depend on the relationship you have had. If your teacher encouraged you at times when you were not doing well, you can include thanking him/her for not giving up and with their letter helping you in the future as well.
The letter does not have to be long. It is just to show you appreciate their willingness to write the letter. A thank you note would also be appropriate.

-- Contributed by: Donna SundbladThank you for the tidbit. When seeking employment nowadays, it's very important to word your thank you letters with the right phrases. Potential employers are also seeking ways not to hire prospects as well as why to hire them. So, it good to keep the airways of communication smooth and well received between both parties. Even if one feels comfortable writing thank you letters, it's always good to seek the opinion of others to ensure that you are balanced in your follow-up communication.
